IPS Empress CAD blocks by Ivoclar Digital. Leucite-reinforced glass-ceramic blocks designed for the proven and efficient fabrication of metal-free ceramic dental restorations. They are indicated for the creation of single crowns using CAD/CAM technology. The blocks are available in high translucency (HT), medium translucency (LT), and polychromatic options. They feature a natural gradation of shades and fluorescence, eliminating the need for additional characterization of the restorations. After wet milling in a Programill machine, the glass-ceramic, with its excellent light-optical properties, requires nothing more than polishing.
